Final Delta-Mendota Subbasin Groundwater Sustainability Plan

The Delta-Mendota Subbasin Coordination Committee is recommending all 23 Groundwater Sustainability Agencies (GSAs) in the Subbasin adopt a new, single Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP). The new single GSP will serve as a roadmap for the GSAs to achieve groundwater sustainability. The GSP addresses “deficiencies” identified by the California Department of Water Resources in March 2023, and will be evaluated by the State Water Resources Control Board when it decides whether to place the Subbasin on “probationary” status early in 2025.
